This is a tribute song created by DMG for the Korean War veterans of the Battle of Gapyeong.
After attending the Gapyeong Veterans event in Airdrie, we were deeply moved to gather our hearts and express our sincere gratitude to these heroes. With the help of Suno to spark our initial inspiration, our band members put their whole hearts into playing, recording, and bringing this song to life.
Looking at these heroes today, now with silver hair and carrying the weight of time, we naturally bow our heads in deep respect. In their youth, driven solely by the desire to help a small, struggling country, they flew halfway across the world to protect the freedom we enjoy today.
Remembering that we exist today because of their noble sacrifice and dedication, we offer our deepest respect once more. No words on this earth could ever fully convey the depth of our gratitude to them.
DMG가 한국전쟁 가평 참전용사분들을 위해 만든 헌정곡입니다.
우연히 참여하게 된 에어드리(Airdrie) 가평 참전용사 행사에서 그분들께 깊은 감사를 전하고 싶어 마음을 모았습니다. Suno의 힘을 빌려 영감을 더하고, 멤버들이 한 마음으로 정성껏 연주하고 녹음하며 완성한 곡입니다.
세월이 흘러 어느덧 백발이 되신 영웅들을 바라보는 것만으로도 자연스레 고개가 숙여집니다. 젊은 시절, 낯설고 가난했던 나라를 돕겠다는 마음 하나로 지구 반대편까지 달려와 우리를 위해 자유를 지켜낸 분들입니다.
그 고귀한 희생과 헌신이 있었기에 오늘날의 우리가 존재함을 기억하며 다시 한번 깊은 경의를 표합니다. 이 지구상의 그 어떤 말로도 그분들을 향한 고마움을 다 담아내지는 못할 것입니다.
